We believe this little one flew into a window and was temporarily stunned. It remained in the same spot on the ground for a couple of days, making it an easy catch when a volunteer went to retrieve it. However, once it arrived at the drop-off location, it made a dramatic escape�flying all around the office and proving surprisingly difficult to recapture! That told me it had regained its strength, and if it made it through the night, a release was likely. Sure enough, it did�so I did.
