The goose had dried blood in its mouth and was clearly struggling when it arrived. By morning, it seemed to be in better shape, which was a hopeful little sign after a rough night.
Hurt Goose Rescue Transfer to Broadbent
The goose found its way to Broadbent Wildlife Sanctuary, like so many waterfowl during their time of greatest need. They are the only place in the state I have found that can take mammals, migratory birds, songbirds, waterfowl, and raptors.
