When we got the call from Shepherdsville about a struggling goose, we knew we had to act fast. The caller sent us an amazing video showing just how much this fellow was struggling to get around, which helped us assess the situation quickly. If you ever come across injured wildlife, check out this guide on helping orphaned or injured wild animals from the Humane Society.
This is where our volunteer network shines ? we made one call, and Jordan stepped up right away. He was already nearby and ready to help. Talk about right place, right time!
Jordan rescued our hobbling friend and brought them directly to our wildlife drop-off location on Dixie Hwy. You can find directions and contact info on our website. Thats what we call teamwork! ?
